International payments and taxes
Draft for legal review. Not approved counsel wording. Do not treat it as the live policy until Gravity Online Academy publishes a signed version.
Prices are in U.S. dollars. A live checkout should offer international cards and suitable local methods through a compliant provider. Card numbers and security codes must be entered on the provider’s hosted page, not stored here.
Before you confirm, the page should show the currency, the amount, any tax, any conversion or provider fee, and the final total.
Country tax rules should be configured only after a tax adviser reviews them. VAT, GST, or sales tax applies where the law requires it. The billing country, and only the tax details that are required, should be collected. Receipts should be issued where the law asks for them.
If a payment fails, you should see that state, be able to retry, and reach support. Transaction IDs should be stored securely once a provider is connected.
